In May of 2016 we were so overjoyed to find out we were expecting our miracle baby after years of miscarriages and infertility. After a few blissful weeks our world came crashing down as we received a prenatal diagnosis of Trisomy 18 for our perfect baby girl. We were told to expect hours, maybe days with our daughter, due to her diagnosis, so from that moment on we decided that we would soak up every moment with her and surround her in love. On December 27th 2016 our little queen, Lavender, was born. Days, weeks, and months went by and she continued to defy the odds. Her diagnosis was supposed to break us, but it has healed us. She has been the greatest blessing to ever happen to our family. We just celebrated her 6th birthday and she continues to be a source of joy and hope for everyone who knows and loves her.
